Real Ninja-Hakama costumes for Jump video

Here’s a first look at some fashion tidbits coming from Japan, about the latest Madonna video for the new single Jump
Two Japanese “Kimono Stylists“, were contacted by Madonna to provide authentic Ninja costumes to dancers for the video.
The guys arranged an “Hakama” costume for Confessions Tour dancers Cloud and Sebastian. Hakama are a traditional Ninja-style wide trousers.
MadonnaTribe‘s collaborator from Japan RoccoC explains: “Hakama usually looks like a wide long culotte skirt. but the bottom half is tightened from the knee with Kyahan leggings for the ninja. This makes it look like a pair of riding breeches.”
