Madonna and Liz Taylor’s Earrings
The NY Post revealed an interesting tidbit on Madonna’s Super Bowl show. She planned to wear a pair of $1 million diamond earrings which once belonged to Elizabeth Taylor but she abandoned the idea because the jewelry was too heavy for her energetic dance routine.
For the show Madonna was loaned Liz’ Marina B diamond tasseled earrings, a present from her twice husband Richard Burton, from new owners who bought them at a recent Christie’s auction.
Plan B, and what the audience saw, was a pair of
white gold-and-diamond earrings by Bulgari.
