Check out a stunning video montage set to the music of the Re-Invention Tour mix of Madonna’s “Vogue” using footage from Sergei Parajanov’s 1968 masterpiece “Color of the Pomegranate“, the movie narrating the life of Armenian troubadour Sayat Nova (King of Song).
As you can see Parajanov’s work had a strong influence on both Mark Romanek’ “Bedtime Story” and Steven Klein’s “X-STaTIC PRO=CeSS” and the “Vogue” video backdrop. Thanks to Straton for this interesting jem.
