For those of you who were wondering “what is Madonna doing with that pink hat on?” after watching some of our pictures from the Sticky & Sweet concert in Rome, here’s a little story that will solve the mistery.

Madonna happened to grab a cowboy hat from the crowd at the end of the show, and at first sight it wasn’t clear if the move was something planned or happened occasionally – until she went on performing the European leg of her tour and the episode never happened again.

We now learn the entire story from M-Tribe reader pippifairy, who went to the concert at the Stadio Olimpico with her pink hat, made sure Madonna noticed her from the front row and eventually asked if she wanted her hat. To which M said ok, pippifairy threw her cowboy hat on the platform and she put it
on, danced along the stage for a while, and then threw it out to the audience – making an instant domino effect start inside the Golden Circle.
