Madonna on the cover of ”DAG”

Madonna is on the frontpage of the Dutch newspaper “DAG” today with the cool picture from Live Earth you see below.

The headline reads “For free and legal” and is about what is called a new revolutionary website called www.qtrax.com that is said to be about to change the music industryby letting users download all their songs for free after installing a software on their computers. The more an artist is played and downloaded the more advertise-generated money goes to the record company and the artist. A similar site called Spiralfrog is already offering music this way since 2007 but only for Universal and only in the US.

However talks with other music giants such asWarner, Emi, Univeral & Sony are still going on as the the software wasn’t devoloped in two year as originally scheduled.
