Liz tells, NO PUB for Madonna

Madonna and Guy Ritchie haven’t embarked on second careers as pint-pourers.

Despite reports that the couple have purchased The Punch Bowl, a pub in their London neighborhood, Madonna’s rep tells PageSix.com it’s “pure fiction.” She adds, ” I know Mr. and Mrs. Ritchie enjoy their pub visits but they don’t own one.”

Nor should they! “Why mix business with pleasure?” we always say. Still, it would have been fun to see the movie-making couple take on TV roles as a modern-day Sam and Diane…
