Reaction to Sorry
Our reader Nathan wants to share the following “Madonna experience” with our visitors.
“Hey Tribe! I just had to write you and share the experience I had last night. I was at THE hottest club in Kansas City on a Saturday Night, The Grand Emporium, and slightly after midnight, the premeired ‘Sorry‘. I should first tell you that the sound system at the club is pretty amazing but very loud…you can usually hardly hear a person standing right next to you even when they’re talking loudly. Well, the club was PACKED and Madonna came on and the crowd went absolutely nuts. What totally blew me away, though, was that once the vocals kicked in, EVERYONE was singing along. I have never seen anything quite like it at this club. The crowds voices were so loud, in fact, that they drowned out Madonna and it became a total singalong. By the time the song got to the part that builds up after the second round of “sorry’s”, it felt like they were gonna blow the roof right off of there. For a longtime Madonna fan like me, it was something to remember.
I share all this just to say that if this is any sign of what’s to come this next month, this single is going to be one of her biggest yet. You go, Madonna!
