Appearing on a French TV show the other day, music legend Marc Cerrone talked about the NY Dance Party event he’s putting together with Nile Rodgers as “the largest dance floor ever created” to celebrate The Disco 30th Disco Anniversary on Saturday, October 6th, 2007 on the Wollman Rink in New York City.

To perform on stage, top dance music talent will be confirmed to perform, as well as, Dance Music Hall of Famers such as Chic. Cerrone, Rose Royce, Thelma Houston, Martha Wash, Anita Ward, Maxime Knightingale, Tramps, Tavares, Gloria Gaynor, Donna Summers, Daft Punk, and stars dj’s as David Morales, Danny Tenaglia, Armand Van Helden, Bob Sinclar and many more.

When the host asked Cerrone wether it was true that Madonna would patronize/support the event he replied she officially agreed to.
