Andrea Corr, singer of the band The Corrs, that played a small part in Alan Parker’s Evita, opposite Madonna as Peron’s young lover will be presenting her new film in Cannes next month.
Andrea plays a psychologist in this new film about suicide.
Our readers may remember that the song Another Suitcase In Another Hall was originally supposed to be sung by Andrea Corr‘s characted in Evita, but was given to Madonna’s character instead.
Dolly Parton clears up rumours about kissing Sandra Bullock a la Madonna/Britney way in the film Miss congeniality 2.
“Sandra and I do not kiss in the movie. In an interview, Sandra repeated stuff I said about the day she threw me down and was in my face. I said, ‘We could show Madonna and Britney a thing or two!'”
Madonna is not the only one to be releasing a documentary this year. Photographer David LaChapelle, who created some amazing images of the Queen of pop in the past, is also going to release his own documentary film this year. Rize is about the art of “krumping”, a form of dance developed by young residents of South Central California. This docu opens in select Us cities in July 2005.
The Tdk Dance Marathon opened yesterday in Milan with the Italian premiere of Rubber Johnny the first short film by Chris Cunnigham, the director of Madonna‘s “Frozen” and “Flex”, used as backdrop on last Summer’s re-Invention Tour.
