Madonna on eTalk Daily

Part One of eTalk Daily‘s exclusive TV interview with Madonna aired today and was full of interesting and revealing details. Here are a few highlights:

• About David Letterman.

“I have a long history with Dave, there’s been good times and hard times, and I know there’s always going to be a surprise for me when I go onto the show”. Madonna also said “everyone on my camp was cringing” when she rode the horse on Letterman.

• On the “1-888 2-CONFESS” phone line.

Madonna says she intends to listen to all the confessions called in to the Confessions line.

• On the MTV Europe Music Awards.
Madonna sayid she’s working on her entrance to the EMAs, she wants to open by coming down inside a disco ball.

• About Touring.

Madonna said she’s seriously considering touring for “Confessions On A Dance Floor” next year but she’s not 100% sure at the moment.

• On the Re-Invention Tour.

Madonna said that one of her favourite RIT shows was Toronto and that the crowd was, quote, “amazing”. Another exact quote by Madonna was “I remember leaving Toronto going yeah this is why I do what I do”

• On writing a musical.
When asked if she’s been approached about taking her discography and turning it into a musical, Madonna smirked and said “I love the idea of writing a musical”.

When asked who could play a young Madonna in a story of her life, Madonna laughed and said “I’ll just wait a couple years and my daughter can do it”
