Speaking about the work of Julien D’Ys it is interesting to know that the famous “Marie Antoinette-like” wig, used in the Vogue video backdrop during the re-Invention tour and in the well known Steven Klein publicity photos, came from him.

The wig itself is from the personal collection of Julien D’Ys and came from the famous Opera de Paris theatre, where Julien found it a long time ago.

After hours of working with Klein and Madonna to test new looks Julien d’Ys simply put the wig on Madonna‘s head. The result was so impressive that it was clear to everybody that it would be the right choice.
