Hung Up going strong on world charts

Our reader Patrick informs us that Madonna jumped 21-10 this week on the Tipparade, the chart every single has to surpass in order to get into the official Top 40 Dutch chart. This coming Friday Radio 538 will announce the new Alarmschijf. That stands for most promising new song. Madonna holds the record for having the most Alarmschijven to date, 21. So let’s wait until Friday to see whether or not Hung Up is number 22. If she is then Hung Up will be on Radio 538 every hour for a whole week, good promotion!

In other chart news our collaborator from Italy, Gam, informs us that Hung Up is up from #30 to # 3 on “Music Control“, the chart of the most played songs on Italian Radio updated daily.
