I know this story is being submitted pretty late, but it is a memory, and I’ve been really busy lately. But I did want to sit down and share…

My Birthday was on June 9, and as an amazing Birthday present, my friend Shannon bought floor tickets for her and I to see the Re-Invention Tour at Madison Square Garden on June 20th. I was very low on money, and was convinced that I wasn’t going to the tour, so this was definately the best present any Madonna fan could ask for. Even better news, my friend Mike, who I had met on AOL, and who lives about 4 hours away, and whose also just as huge a Madonna fan as I, was coming to New York for this event as well. So off we all went, to see the show, it was AMAZING. From the minute “The Beast Within” started to the last note of “Holiday” absoultely AMAZING! Needless to say, all day Monday, it was all we could talk about!

So Monday, my friend Jorge came over, and was asking me all about the show, and was saying how much he regretted not being able to go.

Well, in the middle of this, my phone rings, I say “Hello?” and the person on the other end goes “Hi, I’m calling from MTV, did you enter a contest recently?” and I said “Yes”, and I said “For Madonna” and he goes “Well, Congradulations, your seeing Monday from the pit at Madison Square Garden on June 24”
