Our community member tchapin79 is back from the second Chicago show. Here’s his review:

It was another great night in Chicago! (despite what some newstand reviews are saying) and I was sitting next to two fine folks wearing Tribers Do It Better T-Shirts!

Last night Madonna‘s dad was in the audience. She was proud to point that fact out! She also changed the lyrics of the Mother & Father spoken part just a bit.

Right before Crazy for You started, she began to take her Italians Do It Better T-Shirt off, and then said “ooops, that’s not what I’m supposed to do next“…then continued to dedicate Crazy for You to all her fans.

Another cute point, to show Madonna is only human, was right before Imagine started, she tripped on her pants leg a little bit, and said Ooops…then went on the explain how powerful the lyrics of Imagine are. Both nights the crowd went crazy when John Lennon‘s picture came up on the screen.

Like a Prayer again was the song where the applause just rose the roof! It was crazy, but unlike the July 11th show, last night Madonna had to tell some people on her left to stand up, they can only sit when she does.

I was in the 4th row last night, and there was a 10 second moment Madonna was on my side of the stage singing, and swear she was looking right at me – I had goosebumps over my entire body!
