Julie makes her mark in Madonna dance auditions

Local lass Julie Harley was just pipped to the post in the chance to dance on stage with Madonna on her next tour.
Julie has been in New York for more than two years and attends the Marc Cunningham Foundation School of Dance in Manhatten.
The former Peterhead pupil applied for an audition with Madonna and competed against more than 1,000 dancers for a place on the tour.
Julie made it through to the last 15 and was delighted with her achievement.
But she was more than pleased when she arrived home to find a message on her answering machine from Madonna inviting her to attend a workshop on Wall Street on a weekly basis to have further training from her personal choreographer.
Julie graduates from the Marc Cunningham studio this March having already attained her degree in theatre and dance from Laban College in London.
