I’d rather do it with Madonna

The latest issue of the US Rolling Stone magazine (April 15, 2004 – Issue 946) has a cover story called “The Immortals: The 50 Greatest Artists Of All Time”

The chart is topped by The Beatles. with an article by Elvis Costello, followed by Bob Dylan by Robbie Robertson and Elvis Presley by Bono.

Madonna is unfortunately not on the cover with several that are, but she is listed as #36 and is the second female artist featured in the list, Aretha Franklin being listed at #9.

The article on Madonna is written by Britney Spears, saying she’d rather meet Madonna than the President of the United States.
