Yesterday evening the MadonnaTribe team had the pleasure to attend the private showcase of Donna DeLory, the long time friend of Madonna which is on tour now with the Queen of Pop with her re-Invention show.
As Donna told the selected public at the Yoga center in Paris, she loved to spend her day off from the tour to share her music with people, presenting her latest album, a collection of songs sung in Sanscript called The Lover & The Beloved.
Among the songs in yesterday’s setlist Donna presented a track she penned herself, inspired by her friend Mylene Farmer. Donna worked with Mylene on one of her tours and she wrote this song in French especially for her. She said that she still has to fix some of the French lyrics, but the public cheered her telling her French is perfect, and it’s very fluent indeed.

After the show Donna was so kind to sign photos and cds and take pictures with the audience.
The first thing we did was congratulating for her great voice.
We are very happy to have met such a beautiful person as Donna DeLory, a true artist that loves her work and the people who appreciate her talent.
