Madonna-Klein: Biggest Selling W Issue
The April 2003 issue of W magazine, which had Madonna on the cover and included 44 pages of photos by photographer Steven Klein, is a major success. The photo shoot inspired by dance and Pilates got a lot of attention from major popular magazines such as People, Time, and Today. The April Madonna issue sold 83,000 copies in news stands and it’s the biggest selling W issue since the September 1999 one with Kate Moss on the cover. One of the Klein picture from the photo shoot is used on the cover of Madonna’s latest single “Hollywood”
