Madonna in the top ten of Sexy Voices

Valentine’s Day is nearly upon us and for some, thoughts turn to romance, boxed chocolates and red roses.

But it’s often the music that finally puts us in that romantic mood for the holiday.

Harlequin Entertainment asked DJs across the country to choose which artist’s voice is the most seductive of all times.

The top 10 had a few surprises and some obvious favorites.

Topping the list is the late Barry White.

The DJs said they “can’t get enough of the velvet-voiced crooner.”

Marvin Gaye was second. His version of “Sexual Healing” helped push him near the top of the list.

Newcomer Norah Jones not only scored at last year’s Grammys, she also had DJs wanting to “Come Away With Me.”

Country crossover diva Faith Hill and the “Material Girl” Madonna round out the top 5.

The remaining artists on the list, from sixth to 10th: Sade, Christina Aguilera, Donna Summer, Enrique Iglesias and Elvis Presley.

You have to wonder if the panel of DJs was old enough to remember two of the most seductive voices ever Patsy Cline and Frank Sinatra.
