Britney Spears and Madonna look set to lock lips after embracing in a packed New York nightclub. The pop princess throws the Material Girl against a wall and puckers up for a kiss.

But then Madonna vanishes before her eyes. The scene, at the end of Spears’s new video for her single “Me Against The Music“, echoes their recent stage kiss.

“I never actually see Madonna or kiss her, it’s just a presence“, said Spears, adding: “The video is definitely more sensual than I’m used to“.

The pair decided it would be tacky to repeat their performance at the MTV Awards, a source revealed.
