NYC November 12-13, 2012

New York loves Madonna. Madonna loves New York. You knew something special was going to happen for these shows. These are MadonnaTribe contributor Maverick “J”‘s highlights:

• November 12: There were a bunch of celebs there: Kelly Ripa and hubbie Mark Consuelos, Anderson Cooper, Rosie O’Donnell, and Debi Mazar with her beautiful kids. Madonna’s speech regarding the effects of the hurricane in NY/NJ (which is here online) was one of the most moving, touching speeches ever! You can feel the love. Listen to Madonna’s words again – let’s all try to live by them about being nice to each other every day.
The collection of money for relief was also wonderful.

• November 13: The crowd was nuts! Even Madonna noticed. Everyone was having a great time. One more great speech tonight relating to the hurricane, but when Madonna was collecting money for getting undressed, she was more demanding to get more money…it was hysterical! Of course Psy coming on stage was brilliant and fun!!! The crowd loved it!!!

One of my highlights of the night had to do with something behind-the-scenes…meeting Guy Oseary!!! My friends and I were having a drink at the bar near a glass door that goes backstage (it was guarded…boo! lol). Now who comes walking towards us? Guy!!! Guy was entering through the door when I greeted him and reached out my hand to shake his. No lie…Guy says to me he doesn’t want a handshake, he wants a big, long hug – he told me he wanted to hug it out with me!!! Let me just tell Madonna one thing…Madonna, you chose one classy, nice guy to be your manager! Guy, you rock man!!!
