Madonna shoots Dolce and Gabbana's campaign
A MadonnaTribe FirstFrom Dolce & Gabbana's Swide blogazine:

Madonna has joined forces with Italian designers Dolce & Gabbana to showcase their spring/summer 2010 collection in the brand's forthcoming ad campaign. The campaign will be shot today in New York by photographer Steven Klein.

Madonna first met the designers Stefano Gabbana and Domenico Dolce back in the early nineties and have retained a strong bond and mutual respect ever since. After first meeting the global superstar whilst she was on the set of Dick Tracy in New York, the designers went onto design her costumes for the now iconic, The Girlie Show tour in 1993.

As Dolce & Gabbana's spring/summer 2010 collection returned to the Italian roots of the brand, evoking its strong heritage and revisiting iconic pieces such as the corset (the designer's finale was composed solely of corsets) it seemed only fitting that Madonna, who embodies both the strong sensuality of the brand and who shares an Italian heritage with the designers should be the one to showcase the Sicilian inspired collection.

On Madonna appearing in their forthcoming campaign, Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana said:

"To have Madonna in our campaign is a dream come true".

Exclusive: The Dolce and Gabbana photoshoot taking place today
A MadonnaTribe FirstNot everyone was keen to trust MadonnaTribe's mouth about Madonna being the face of Italian designer Dolce & Gabbana for their upcoming campaign - and some even took some (wasted) quality time to say that wasn't true,

Today as M-Tribe readers know is the day of the photoshoot, taking place in New York City with Steven Klein behind the camera.

Our exclusive report also gets a final seal from the pages of Dolce & Gabbana's official blogazine:

"To have Madonna in our campaign is a dream come true", Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana said.

Exclusive Reports: Second Celebration Video to be Benassied too!
A MadonnaTribe FirstAs previously reported first by MadonnaTribe.com a second video for the single Celebration is going to be released to the media.

The new video is a third cut prepared by director Jonas Akerlund and is also set to the Benny Benassi mix of the song. The video of the pop version of the song is apparently to stay unreleased, but scenes from that cut, including the fans filmed in Italy and Spain and Lola wearing the Like A Virgin wedding dress are said to be included into this new Benny Benassi version.

In other news we have heard that it is 100% sure Madonna will attend the MTV Video Music Awards this year but unfortunately she is not going to perform any song.

Exclusive: More details about new CD tracklist
A MadonnaTribe FirstA couple of days ago MadonnaTribe.com brought its readers the first look the track list of Madonna's new Celebration double cd compilation. Today we can add a few more details about the project.

Unlike The Immaculate Collection, released in 1990 with all brand new remixed edits in the great Q sound, Celebration unfortunately will not contain new remixed edits but mostly already released original Album Versions and Radio Edits of the hits plus some versions lifted from The Immaculate Collection.

Probably a bit more of a effort could have been put in the production of this project, especially after how badly the previous collection GHV2, completely made of recycled old materials, has been received by the diehard fans, but at least we have the two great singles, Celebration and Revolver that partly make up for this lack of originality.

And here are the exclusive details about the double cd track list.

CD 1:
01) Hung Up - LP Version
02) Music - LP Version
03) Vogue - Immaculate Collection Version
04) 4 Minutes - LP Edit
05) Holiday - LP Version
06) Like A Virgin - Immaculate Collection Version
07) Into The Groove - LP Version
08) Everybody - LP Edit
09) Like A Prayer - LP Version

11) Sorry - LP Edit
12) Express Yourself -Video Edit
13) Open Your Heart - Immaculate Collection Version
14) Borderline - Immaculate Collection Version
15) Secret - LP Edit
16) Erotica - LP Edit
17) Justify My Love - LP Version
18) Revolver

CD 2:
01) Dress You Up - LP Edit
02) Material Girl - LP Version
03) La Isla Bonita - LP Version
04) Papa Don't Preach - LP Version
05) Lucky Star - LP Edit

Exclusive Reports: More Celebration news
A MadonnaTribe FirstHere are some more M's Greatest Hits related news for our readers.

The remixes for the first single off the package, Celebration, are signed by Benny Benassi, Chris Lake, Felguk, Johnny Vicious and of course the producer of the original track Paul Oakenfold. As for the special guest of the video we mentioned a few days ago, we can now report it's the lovely Lourdes Leon herself. Madonna's daughter will make her debut in her mum's Celebration music video.

We have also been told that Warner and Madonna's camp are very happy with the positive buzz surrounding Celebration and planning the release of the second single off the GH. Revolver, the second new song contained in the new compilation, will be released as the second single sometime in September 2009.

Exclusive: An invitation to the dance
A MadonnaTribe FirstFollowing the exciting world exclusive news we reported yesterday here, MadonnaTribe has heard more details about the upcoming Madonna single and greatest hits album.

As all our readers know by now, "Celebrate" is set to hit radio waves around the world on July 28th, but those who attended the Sticky & Sweet Tour already managed to hear a glimpse of the lead single from the new Madonna collection titled "Celebration".

"Celebrate" can indeed be heard in the show during the "Holiday" number. As reported here first, bits of both the new single and Madonna's oldie "Everybody" are sampled in the song, although fans should not be confused by the vocals introducing the song (Celebration, Celebration) which are those from Holiday and only a hint to "Celebrate" which doesn't feature vocals borrowed from Madonna's 1983 megahit but it's a completely new, kick ass uptempo anthem in pure Madonna style.

Speaking of new songs, "Revolver" is now the only second new track to be part of the Greatest Hits package, while "Broken", the other track produced by Paul Oakenfold won't be released.

Last but not least, Madonna fans will be happy to know that "Celebration", the hits collection, is a double album!

Exclusive Reports: More from the Rehearsals
A MadonnaTribe FirstOur friend Mike, reporting from Roseland Ballroom sent in more details he gathered by talking to Madonna's people on the venue.

Chris Lamb (known as "the guy in the cowboy hat") told Mike he is signed to do her tour "from August till December" with the last show on the tour to be done in December.

Now back to rehearsals: Madonna did do Hung Up - very rock, a lot of drumbs - and she sang it live. She also did Music with lot of base and drums. She rehearsed 4 Minutes alone but according to a security guy apparently there's a possibility both Justin and Timbaland will sing it with her live. The most rehearsed song was Give It 2 Me. She kept on doing it over and over and the song.

Liz Rosenberg and Guy Oseary were both seen with Madonna on her first day there. Dancer Hypnoses was spotted too. There is a line already. People in line said they were moved a few times, but were told tickets will be given on Wednesday morning.

At last Madonna came out at 11pm, with her outfit on - surrounded by umbrelas, she walked into the trailer to change. Looked like her hair was much blonder - it was very hard to see though. She'll be back rehearsing today
