MadonnaTribe contributor Golan brings the Tribers back to the German leg of the MDNA Tour by sharing some great pictures shot from the tip of the catwalk at the Madonna concert at the O2 World in Berlin on June 30, 2012.
Live in Berlin: O2 World pictures, videos and story by DJCooky
MadonnaTribe longtime contributor and Community member Basti aka DJCooky shares his pictures, videos and concert experience with Madonna at the O2 WorldJune 30.
"I arrived in Berlin on Friday, 29th for a stay of four days celebrating my birthday on Monday. I´ve learned a lot about what was going on at her first Berlin concert on Thursday. Thanks a lot to you Tribers for all the info!"
"There is one thing that was special about the O2 World in Berlin that I want to point out! As a O2 customer (SIM-card in your mobile) you had a separate entrance called "blue lane"! Very few fans knew about that, mostly only those from Berlin. As a O2 customer, you could also bring along three friends in total. At the "blue lane" entrance there was less checking of your belongings and you were let in prior to the other fans with field tickets. That is what I want to point out: all those who had "early access" were kind of ripped off by this "blue lane" door policy.
Meaning, that a lot of "early access" guys, were standing way behind me in the arena."
"The "iPad lady" showed up at about 5:15pm. She was rather nice though when I talked to her about any leftovers. We were let in at about 6:30pm and Martin Solveig played for almost an hour. Madonna teared the roof off at 10:17pm!"
"I´ve been to her shows since the Drowned World Tour, but this entrance was beyond words. So epic! The snippets on Youtube don´t do this amazing opener any justice! I was shaking, almost crying and watching with pure amazement until she hit the floor. Soundwise it was one of her best shows, not so distorted as the Sticky and Sweet Tour was. Her infamous interludes really made a highlight to the show. What´s more she was really talkative before performing Masterpiece."
"As MDNA was not my favourite album to be honest I really think that all songs performed in that show are amazing from the album, especially "I don´t give a"! Madonna looked so fresh and young from my perspective and my friends and me were wondering like how she could put on a show like this at her age almost every evening?!"
"Bottom line: Thanx for bringing music and joy to my life ever since MADONNA!"
Basti also shot a nice shout out to a friend he and fellow triber Bepo were missing at the show. When you check out the video below, be sure to browse his entire YouTube channel for all the videos from the concert - and click the banner below for his picture gallery.
Live in Berlin: O2 World - Pictures and video by Tero
MadonnaTribe reader Tero shares eight beatuiful Madonna portraits he took at the concerts in Berlin on June 28 and 30, capturing some very special moments during the show.
"On June 28th I was lucky to get into the Golden Triangle (ICON contest!)" - Tero writes - "and recorded this video right from the front of the stage (too bad my camera couldn't really handle the bass in the pit!)"
Live in Berlin: O2 World pictures and report from John
MadonnaTribe contributor John is just back from Berlin after an amazing show! "Was so lucky to have won golden triangle in the iPad contest so didn't think my night could have gotten better" - he writes.
"The crowd was electric and everyone seemed to having a good time! Madonna was on form and showed Germany how to party! The Highlight of the night was when Madonna came over during open your heart and said do you know the words? Then she passed the mic over and along I sang! The Best Night of My Life!"
Live in Berlin: Berlin report by Ultimate Concert Experience
Thanks to Dirk at Ultimate Concert Experience for sharing more than 90 images and his report from the Berlin stop of the MDNA Tour concerts at the O2 World last week.
"Madonna in Berlin and football were the main topics in Berlin press, the two are compared in every possible way and the sensation media bring their story of people selling their Madonna tickets to watch the Germans play against Italy, nevertheless the O2 World was fully packed where Martin Solveig played Love Spent for the very first time and where the accreditated photographers could only take pictures during I Don't Give A and Express Yourself, they were not allowed to take pictures from the opening part of the show."
"The day after, the sensation media have more attention for Madonna's stay in Soho house and what her family does than the concert after all. Next stop is Gothenburg for the MDNA Midsummer experience."
And here are some fantastic images from the first German Madonna concert of the year, the MDNA Tour show at O2 World in Berlin from yesterday night, shared by our longtime Community member Neil aka And-i-feel.
Berlin is ready to welcome the Königin des Pop for the first of the two MDNA tour concerts at the O2 World tonight. Martin Solveig will be also opening for Madonna tonight and on Saturday.

German channel RTL showed footage of Madonna at Berlin airport security checkpoint wearing a rather unusual outfit for such a place. The Dancing Queen boarded a private jet shortly after performing in front of 50 000 people at the Olympic Stadium in the German capital.
The third Sticky and Sweet show took place in Berlin yesterday. Excepting some tehcnical problems, Madonna delivered another great concert and even sported a slighty different outfit for the Into the groove performance, as her costume was all pink. Also, during the request part before Hung Up, Madonna sang a few lines from Express Yourself and Holiday as well.
As for the Hot Ticket issue that is now worrying many fans, it seems that this time things went better than in Nice. Apparently, Hot Tickets holders have been admitted into the Olympic Stadium before the general admissions. Below, thanks to our community member andifeel, you can see a picture of the "Hot Ticket package" gifts, which consist in one pen and one card holder.
Special thanks to Ale, Neil, Mike, GC 79 and all our friends reporting from Germany.
Our friends Sharon and Tony reporting from Berlin's Olympic Stadium inform us that the gates were opened about 20 minutes ago. Everything is getting ready for the first Sticky and Sweet show in Germany: as we speak the crew is setting up for Robyn's act at the end of the catwalk.
