Recycled Life

There were two different versions of Madonna’s ‘American Life‘ CD album sleeves released in Europe. The initial version was printed on bright white nice shiny plastic-feeling paper in the vein of most inlays.

The second version, printed in far fewer numbers, was printed on 100% re-used paper. These ones can be identified as the paper is a matte style and is a slightly creamy colour. The recycled credentials of the album are printed in the foldout inlay explaining this: “This package is printed on 100% post consumer waste recycled paper.
Revolve Silk 135g/m2 pure white matte coated paper.”
