As you may have noticed, a rather familiar picture of Madonna and Brahim kissing at the end of the “Candy Shop” number of the MDNA Tour made its way on several tabloids around the world in the past few days.

It is not exactly a surprise to read the headlines shouting – oh, the scandal, look what Madonna is doing on stage in Porto Alegre with his young boyfriend but, no, sorry, it was just a performance – the same one since the tour started – not an intimate moment to benefit a crowd of thousands.

It is actually a little more surprising to notice that the picture they use was actually shot long ago, at the June 7th show in Istanbul, Turkey, the third stop (and the fourth show overall) of this year’s tour.

Which means that – oh bugger – the tabloids could have started bitching about this months ago, but probably didn’t get a hold of this great picture yet as it only reached the pages of The Sun in the UK much recently, and not in a very straight-forward way, as it was picked without any permission from the author’s photo gallery (and this would be an interesting note for those who wonder why sometimes the images shot by the fans are watermarked when they are posted on the internet).

The author is, as you may have guessed, no other than MadonnaTribe’s (and every good fans’) own Neil aka And-I-Feel, and the good news is that Neil eventually managed to have his image rightfully syndicated, and royalties are now going to the charity he supports, the Stroke Association in the UK.
