In a strange twist of fate, the original theatrical Evita, Elaine Page is now promoting her new single Take A Bow, in various UK television shows. Take A Bow, written by Madonna and Babyface for the Queen op Pop’s 1994 album Bedtime Stories, had a big budget music video shot in Spain featuring imagery strongly linked to the times of Evita. Madonna later confessed that the video was also a way to show Alan Parker she could be the perfect Evita in his movie about the Rice/Webber musical.
