A Madonna track on the Live Earth iTunes compilation

Madonna’s official website Madonna.com has posted some more info about the performances from Live Earth that have been selected and put together in the digital album for iTunes will anticipate the release of the physical CD/DVD from the event.

As you may remember from our report on July 8, a 13 track Live Earth Live Album was already available for pre-order on iTunes the day after the eight concerts took place.

Madonna.com now confirms that the digital album – that will be released on August 14 – will feature a track from Madonna’s memorable performance.

Also, the relase date for the physical CD/DVD featuring video is set for September 25, with proceeds going to the Live Earth charity campaign to combat the global climate crisis.
