The Madonna Gallerie, which features exclusive high quality art, fashion apparel and other Madonna related merchandise opens today at W Los Angeles Westwood Hotel, four days prior to the start of the highly anticipated Madonna Confessions Tour.

For the fans who just can’t get enough of the Material Girl, the Madonna Gallerie will present specially designed limited edition hand painted art canvases and framed photographs by premiere lens men Steven Klein, and Jean-Baptiste Mondino which cover the span of Madonna’s career.

Available for sale will be a limited line of high end merchandise including fashion T?s. There will also be a series of Madonna Wines including magnificently illuminated Madonna labels created for the Celebrity Cellars Series tribute to great performing artists. The store will remain opened for the duration of Madonna’s sold-out Confessions Tour at the Los Angeles Forum from Wednesday May 17 through May 25th.

An invitation-only press/VIP party took place yesterday at the W Hotel Los Angeles who will also display several of the canvases and Madonna fashion merchandise in the lobby of the hotel. The event, hosted by W Hotel Los Angeles and Signatures Network showcased new tour fashion items and live music remixes of Madonna’s songs.

A portion of the proceeds at the Madonna Gallerie will be designated by Madonna to UNICEF.

There will be an official Madonna Confessions Tour Merchandise and Art Store, featuring some of the art plus t-shirts, tour programs and all other items Madonna, will be open to the public at Wild About Music (1450 2nd St., Santa Monica) from Wednesday, May 17 through Thursday, May 25, 2006. The store will also offer specially designed tee-shirts, buttons and other apparel sold exclusively at the Madonna Gallerie.
