Liz strikes back
No stranger to controversy, Madonna has even managed to start a war of words over her new contract with H&M – Vogue.co.uk reports. The singer has agreed to dress herself and her entire dance troop in the high street label for the duration of her Confessions tour as well as appearing in ads for it, but not everybody thinks she is their best signing. “These kids trade in stars every two or three years, and many don’t know Madonna,” New York advertising honcho Jerry Della Femina told PageSix.com.
“I could see her signing up with Loehmann’s, I can’t see her with H&M.”
But the 47-year-old singer’s spokeswoman, Liz Rosenberg, isn’t having any of it.
“I defy any 18-year-old to do a quarter of what Madonna does on stage,” Liz said. “I hope Jerry Della Femina takes a nice pill.”
