Besson speaks at the Arhur Press Conference in Istanbul

Our friends at fellow fansite MadonnaTurk keep reporting about the visit of director Luc Besson for the premiere of “Arthur and the Minimoys” in Instanbul and want to share these clippings from the first newspaper reports mentioning the press conference held yesterday.

“Mr. Besson stated that “Arthur” has been his 10th movie, and as he promised himself, he won’t direct any more movies because that would be repeating of himself. He said this movie is his jubilee.”

“He also stated that “Hollywod makes great movies but they also are imperialist. Turkish audience are rebelling against the USA movies, and you are paying more attention to your own movies. This must be a model for all the European countries.”
