From Art to Heart: Vogue

This week we will be showing our readers the talent of our friend and site contributor and correspondent from Israel David Kawena, who has sent in some of his amazing drawings and portraits of Madonna.

David explains:”I’ve been drawing ever since I was a little boy, mostly cartoon characters – especially Disney – and from the moment Madonna came into my life my work has been changed/improved so much! Madonna – as the ultimate artist that she is – became my muse, and had inspired me to keep on doing what I love most and always try to improve and explore new things, never be afraid to fail… While I was studing animation in Bezalel – Academy of Art and Design” in Jerusalem (following my dream of becoming a Disney animator one day) Madge appeared in A LOT of my works! Not only by using her image, but also by using her songs as plots for my animated movies ideas.”
