To Slane or not to Slane?

Details have been emerging of Madonna’s up-and-coming re-INVENTION tour which will take her to the fabled grounds of Slane Castle in August.

This year`s Slane concert if to be headlined by the superstar, and will mark her first `official` visit to Ireland.

Although yet to be fully confirmed, the date of the show will be in late August; either the weekend of August 21 or the following week. The determining factor will be the number of extra nights added to her August 18 stop-off at London`s Earl`s Court.

The Slane gig is just one of the shows that will form the European leg of Madonna`s tour.
It is thought that ticket prices for the Slane concert could hit the ‘150 mark.
