I’m back from the third show in Paris of the re-Invention tour.

Tonight’s concert has been filmed with loads of additional cameras including one placed in the area where the central leg of the suspendend catwalk lands.
According to what we heard from insiders tonight, there are strong chances now that the Paris footage might be used for the Dvd release as well and that the shooting in London might not take place anymore.

Jean Paul Gaultier and Mylene Farmer were among the vips that attended the show tonight. The audience tonight was a bit less enthusiastic, Madonna’s voice was a bit weaker but aside from that people, especially in the first rows of the “fosse” had a really great time.

And now here’s the classic moment dedicated to the Madonna speeches of the night:
She opened Burning up by saying “Je suis chaud!” (I’m hot) and presented Material Girl as the usual oldie but goodie and asking people to help with the words.

In the middle of the song she said: “Ok, I’m gonna give you one more chance to make me feel welcome in gay Paris”.
In Lament, she spitted after being tied to the electric chair like she did in the Us shows and did once or twice in the Uk.

With no surprise Don’t Tell Me was presented french style.

at the end of the song she said: Don’t you ever tell me what to say, what to do, what to think, don’t ever tell me to stop.
At the beginning of Like A Prayer: Ok party people! Are you ready to dance? Are you ready to open your heart to me? while in Mother and Father she asked in French to the public: Est que vous v’amusez bien çe soir? (are you having a good time?)

Madonna presented Imagine the classic way, as the “song written over 35 years ago, but that could have been written yesterday”

In the after Papa Don’t Preach speech she thanked all the fans that traveled the world to come and see her. Some of our italian friends had an Italian flag with them in the fosse and Madonna said: I see there is a lot of people from a lot of different countries. Italy, Argentina, Australia, Spain and a lot more. Thanks for coming here to be with me.
This is the proof that music really makes the people come together. I wish it would happen only in a rock concert, well ok this is not a rock concert!
