A League of their Own director Penny Marshall reveals in the brand new audio commentary made especially for the double dvd edition of the movie, that she would have preferrend to use “This Used To Be My Playground“, the song that Madonna co-wrote with Shep Pettibone especially for the movie and that received a Golden Globe Nomination, in the opening credit and titles instead of using it on the closing credits.

The music video of This used to be my playground
is available for the first time in the Us as part of the extras of disc two.
Among the deleted scenes there’s a kiss between Geena Davis and Tom Hanks‘s characters.
