No Kabbalah for Missy

Rapper Missy Elliott
explains why she didn’t join Kabbalah in a recent interview.
“I love Madonna and we became friends after the Gap advert. She introduced me to Kabbalah and gave me a red bracelet. I’m Christian, so I didn’t join, but we’re still close.”

Missy has also confessed her mother scolds her for her raunchy songs.
The star whose tracks include ‘Get Ur Freak On’ and ‘Toyz’, an ode to vibrators, says her mother complains she can’t boast about her daughter’s success to her friends because her songs are too offensive.
“Mom’s very religious and calls me up to tell me off about my songs. She says she can’t even tell people at church to go and buy my records because my lyrics are so rude.”
