Not a complete surprise but Madonna‘s first Uk date on her Re-Invention Tour sold out within minutes yesterday morning.
250,000 hopefuls were still waiting on the phone lines when the last ticket sold for her August 18 date at London’s Earls Court.
Madge immediately announced a second date August 19 but those were snapped up too.
Three years ago she played six sold-out nights at Earls Court on her Drowned World Tour.
