Madonna from Andermay’s website – Spanish April’s Fool day joke

This news and the picture on the right come from the official website of Basque duo Andermay.

On December 23, May and Ander flew to London to meet Queen of Pop Madonna. Thanks to contacts with Liz Rosenberg, Andermay were informed of Madonna‘s interest in several unreleased songs of the duo, written in an electro-pop style.

The picture that accompanies this news item on andermay.net was taken in the London studio of Stuart Price, as Andermay themselves mention, “the producer currently working on the tracks of the new Madonna’s album”.

Madonna appeared in the studio right after leaving her stylist, with a new look that Andermay described as “very young looking”. They talked a few minutes and she shared her comments and some ideas about the two songs she had chosen to record as demos for what is set to be her new studio album. After talking to Stuart in private, she left them with him to attend a presentation of her latest children’s book.

Ander and May are very excited by this new musical experience and hope to be able to share more information as soon as possible. “We hope that she likes the songs and that Andermay becomes part of the new release of the Queen of Pop”, they add.

UPDATE: A lot of our Spanish members have contacted us to explain that this picture was a
joke done in the tradition of the Dia de los inocentes (Day of the innocents) a sort of Spanish April’s fool day happening yesterday by the Andermay.net site. Our Team member Pam_Anderson from the Portuguese forum
informs us that on the Andermay.net site now appears the face of the real person in the photo, which is not Madonna.
