It’s all about the shoes!

Our team member Sharon was also one of the lucky fans in the queue. Here’s an exclusive report of her funny conversation with Madonna:

“Well I was with Steve, Tony and the gang all day so I’ll just get down to what I said to our Madge.

I went up and said “Hi! I’m really enjoying the books”
She said “Hi!” and asked “what is you favourite?”
I said “Mr Peabody’s Apples”
She said “Have you read the others?”
I said “Yes and I was at the book launch for the English Roses.
I was one of the mad fans with a banner. I actually got interviewed by Sky news”
She replied “cool” then asked “Well would you like to read this one?” and handed me the book.
I said “Of course, thanks”

Then as I was walking away I said “Great shoes by the way”
She was like “thank you, …………well spotted”
I carried on walking BUT cheekily turned back and said “Its all about the shoes!”

I was number 43 in the queue. I gave her a Leo (starsign) mug as a gift!”
